Wingaru Kids – Student Use Guide (Ages 5–12)

This guide helps you use Wingaru Kids safely, kindly, and for learning.
Please read it with your teacher or a grown-up at school.

1) What Wingaru Kids is for

  • Wingaru Kids is for learning in class and at home. You use it to watch, read, and do activities your teacher sets.

2) Be kind and respectful

  • Use kind words and good manners.

  • Respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and stories.

  • Don’t tease, bully, or make fun of anyone.

3) Stay safe online

  • Keep your password private. Don’t share it with friends.

  • Don’t share personal information (your address, phone number, or photos) unless your teacher says it is okay.

4) Use your own account

  • Log in with your name and password. Don’t use someone else’s account or pretend to be them.

9) Ask for help

  • Ask your teacher if you forget your password or need some help. It’s always okay to ask questions.

10) When rules are not followed

  • Your teacher may remind you of the rules, limit your time on the device, or talk to your family.
