This Privacy Policy applies to the services offered by Wingaru Education Pty Ltd.
1. Personal information:
The Company is committed to safeguarding personal privacy. It recognises that individuals have a right to control how their personal information is collected and used. Providing personal information is an act of trust and it is taken seriously. Unless given consent to do otherwise, the Company will only collect and use personal information as set out below.
1a. Types of Personal Information Collected and Held
The Company may collect and hold the following types of personal information:
  • Contact details such as name and email address
  • Account details such as usernames, and passwords
  • Information about use of our services, including activity logs, and preferences.
1b. How Personal Information is Collected and Held
Personal information is collected directly from individuals or provided by the school when they:
  • Register for a product
  • The school performs a bulk onboarding process
  • The school adds users individually
All personal information collected is held securely. The Company stores information on secure servers with access restricted to authorised personnel only. Appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption and regular system monitoring, are in place to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.
1c. Purposes of Collection, Use and Disclosure
The Company collects, holds, uses, and discloses personal information for the following purposes:
  • To provide and manage our services;
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and
Personal information will only be used or disclosed in ways consistent with these purposes, unless consent is obtained for another use or disclosure, or as otherwise required or permitted by law.
1d. Access and Correction of Personal Information
Individuals have the right to access the personal information we hold about them. To obtain access, individuals may contact Wingaru Education at info@wingaru.com.au . Where information is inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading, individuals may request that it be corrected. The Company will take reasonable steps to ensure that personal information is accurate and will respond to correction requests promptly. If the Company refuses to correct personal information as requested, we will provide written reasons for the refusal and advise of further complaint options.
1e. Disclosure to Overseas Recipients
Wingaru Education does not currently or have plans to disclose personal information to overseas recipients. If this changes in the future, the Company will update this Privacy Policy to clearly identify the countries in which such recipients are likely to be located and notify all users, where it is practicable to do so, and will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect the personal information disclosed.
2. Collecting personal information:
The Company will not collect or monitor any personal information about an individual without their consent. The only personal information collected is what has been provided voluntarily.
3. Use of tracking technologies:
The Company uses tracking technologies such as cookies or web beacons to make use of the website and services as convenient as possible. Cookies are pieces of information that a web site transfers to a computer’s hard disk for record keeping purposes. Most web browsers are set to accept tracking technologies such as cookies or web beacons. These tracking technologies do not themselves personally identify users, although they do identify a user’s browser.
4. Using and disclosing your personal information:
Personal Information will be used for the following primary purpose:
  • To fulfill obligations under any sale and purchase contract and/or any other contract between the individual and the Company.
  • To render services related to Wingaru Education’s business such as warranty or after sales services.
For the purpose described above, information may be shared only with official government agencies with legal orders.

The Company may contact individuals using the information, which was provided by them in order to:
  • Provide information that may be of interest about upgrades, new Company products, special offers and other matters that may be of interest.

7. The Company and links to other web sites:
The Company provides links to web sites outside of the Company site. These linked sites are not under the control of Company, and the Company is not responsible for the conduct of companies linked to the Company web site, nor for the performance or otherwise of any content and/or software contained in such external websites.
8. Sub-Processors:
Wingaru Kids does not use any sub-processors because all services are hosted, managed, and operated directly by Wingaru Education. Data handling, storage, and processing activities remain entirely within our controlled infrastructure, ensuring that no third-party providers have access to customer data. This approach strengthens security, simplifies compliance, and provides assurance that data remains fully under our governance.
9. Complaints of Breaches and How We Will Manage the Complaint
If you believe that Wingaru Education has breached this Privacy Policy or the Australian Privacy Principles, you may lodge a complaint by contacting us at info@wingaru.com.au . Upon receiving a complaint, we will:
  • Acknowledge receipt of the complaint within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Investigate the complaint fairly and promptly.
  • Provide you with a written response outlining the outcome of the investigation and any actions taken to address the issue.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
